Stuart Brookshire

Graveside ser vices for Stuart Brookshire, 78, of Tyler were held March 18 at Liberty Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Fred Wor then officiating. Ar rangements are under direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors, Tyler.

Mr. Brookshire died March 15, 2008 in a Longview hospital.

He was born Nov. 20, 1929 in Tyler to the late W. Arthur and Lizzie Brookshire. He graduated from the University of Texas and was owner and operator of Brookshire & Johnson Feed Store. He was a member of Liberty Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Mariola Brookshire, Tyler; sons, Daniel Brookshire, Austin, Tony Brookshire, Whitehouse, and Brett Brookshire, Tyler; daughter, Genie Brookshire, Longview; stepchildren, Preston Warren and Anita Faggett, both of Longview, Daniel Warren, Monnie Warren and Spring Brookshire, all of Tyler; 16 grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren.
