BCXR riders qualify for trip to national championships

On March 14 four riders from BCXR Horse Center LLC in Troup traveled to Kosse to compete in the Meadow Creek Horse Trials. The big winner of the weekend was Alison Hardaway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Hardaway of Whitehouse, riding the horse On Top of the World.

Alison won the Junior Beginner Novice Division and was Reserve Champion for all Beginner Novice riders which included over 50 riders both amateur and professional.

Josie Lassen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Lassen of Troup, riding Mr. Blazing Jet owned by BCXR Horse Center, was second.

Two members of the team, Alison and Morgan Worthington, are now qualified to compete in the National Eventing Championships to be held in September near Chicago, Ill.
