Couple weds March 8

Mrs. Anthony Brenneman
Dawna LaVon Haynes of Flint and Anthony Jay Brenneman of Irving were united in marriage on March 8, 2008 during an evening ceremony at Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville, with Judge James Morris officiating.

The couple was attended by Madison Brenneman as flower girl.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda and Steve Lawson and Rick and Melanie Haynes, all of Flint. Maternal grandparent is Bonnie "Mimi" Deaton of Flint. Paternal grandparents are Louis and Doris Haynes of Flint.

The groom is the son of Mary Brenneman of Irving. His maternal grandparents are Bill Brenneman of Frankston and Lillian Brenneman of Kansas.

A reception followed at Castle on the Lake. The bride's mother designed the cake and Christa Goodman the flowers.

The bride graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and is employed by Tyler ISD as a Braillist to the visually impaired.

The groom is employed by Ferguson and Beauregard.

The couple is planning a honeymoon this summer to St. Thomas. They will make their home in Frankston.
