Anna Pardoe earns pageant title of Little Miss Queen

Anna Pardoe, 9, of Whitehouse captured top honors at the International Girl Lindale/ Van preliminary pageant held in Van recently.

Pardoe won the Little Miss Lindale/Van Queen title for her age division as well as the Interview and Photogenic awards competing against other girls from the East Texas area.

The Sweepstakes Cash Award, which goes to the judges' choice of the most outstanding contestant from all 0- 18 age groups, was also awarded to Pardoe.

She competed in the official part of the competition which included talent. She sang an original song that her father wrote titled "When I Dream."

International Girl is a nationwide program which provides young girls and ladies opportunities for social and talent training, grooming, travel, and scholarships.

Pardoe also earned an Official Division entry paid to the next level of competition where she will compete with other contestants from across the state at the International Girl Texas State pageant to be held in Plano this summer.
