Jewell Dean Jones

Services for Jewell Dean Jones, 90, of Jasper, aunt of a Troup resident, were held March 21 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home, Jasper.

Burial was in West Oaks Cemetery.

Ms. Jones died March 18, 2008 in Newton.

She was born in Jasper and graduated from Jasper High School in 1936. She attended Chiener Business College in Beaumont, and was bookkeeper for Johnson's Flower Shop in Beaumont for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charlie Jones.

Survivors are three nieces, including Glenda Roquemore, Troup; and one nephew.
