Bible Wesleyan Church sets dedication April 5

The Bible Wesleyan Church at 104 Hagan Road in Whitehouse will celebrate its long-awaited day of dedication on Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend the dedication service.

"Ground-breaking was in September of 2003," said Pastor Dennis Cable. "It's taken us a while to complete everything, but the day has come."

"It's amazing how God has blessed us through this entire process," said Cable.

The church came to be as families met in homes in the community. They rented the former Heritage Funeral Home on Jim Russell Road until their building was far enough along to house the congregation.

Cable said it has taken this long because they several members of the church have used their skills to complete the building process over the past five years.

Revival services will be held at the church April 6-13 with Rev. George Stevenson preaching. On Sundays, the revival services will be at 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday services will begin at 7:30 p.m.
