Pauline Horton Cruse

Graveside services for Pauline Horton Cruse, 91, of Fort Worth, formerly of Tyler, were held March 27 at Whitehouse Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Bardin officiating. Arrangements were with Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors, Tyler.

Mrs. Cruse died March 24, 2008 in Fort Worth.

She was born Sept. 4, 1916 in Whitehouse to the late Jackson E. and Suzannah Horton. She grew up near Whitehouse and graduated from Whitehouse High School. She was a teller in a Tyler bank until 1942. She was active in Bob Cruse Insurance Agency in Tyler until 1985. She moved to Fort Worth in 2005. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Tyler. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Bob Cruse, in 1985.

Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne Cruse, Fort Worth, and brother, James H. Horton, Fort Worth.
