Sixth-graders do well at UIL competition
      Holloway sixth grade competed at the district UIL meet this past Saturday at Pine Tree Junior High. Sixth grade placed second overall for their grade and third overall with the junior high. Ready Writing: Riley Williams, first; Hunter Regian, sixth.

WJHS wins third with 'Antic Spring'
      Whitehouse Junior High Theater department recently presented "Antic Spring" for the UIL One Act Play and placed third in the district competition. Ross Viergever, Taylor Allen and Justin Bloom also received special recognition for their roles.

STUDENTS OF THE WEEK
      Aubrey Jacquez, eighth grade, and Connor Williams, seventh, are students of the week at Whitehouse Junior High School. Aubrey's favorite class is English and her hobbies are soccer, reading and hanging out with her friends. Connor likes to play basketball and is in the choir.

      Pre-K, Head Start and kindergar ten registration for all Whitehouse ISD attendance zones will be held 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, April 21 through Friday, April 25. First Ladies continue to take home awards
      Football and basketball season performances may be long over, but the Whitehouse First Ladies Drill Team has been very busy with dance competition season, winning many awards and special recognition. Shelly Johnston is the director of the First Ladies.
