Tigers improve to 7-3 in district
      Adam Voigt and Austin Braswell struck out 19 batters between them as the Troup Tigers picked up two district wins last week. Voigt earned the win against West Rusk on Tuesday, retiring nine hitters and giving up just three hits in the 3-0 victory.

Ladycats still tied for 2nd place
      Whitehouse remains tied with Marshall for second place in District 12-4A softball, notching wins over Nacogdoches and Kilgore to improve to 8-2. The Ladycats battled Nac to a 1-0 home win last Tuesday and then routed Kilgore, 14-0, Monday night in a game rescheduled from last Friday.

Whitehouse players earn All-Star nod
      The Azalea Orthopedics All-Star high school basketball players have been chosen for the April 12 games at the UT Tyler Patriot Center. Among those participating are three stand-outs from Whitehouse High School: Kyle Ford, Kody Molloy and Kayla Mason.

      It was a long time coming to coaches, players, and fans as Whitehouse earned its first district win Saturday at Kilgore 7-4 avenging and earlier first round loss to the Bulldogs.

      Elysian Fields captured the District 21-AA district girls golf tournament Thursday, with the Troup Lady Tigers finishing fourth. Wildcat JV boys, varsity girls win
      Whitehouse's varsity girls and junior varsity boys grabbed the top spots at the T.K. Gorman track meet on April 3. The girls finished with 150 points and the JV 218. The Wildcat varsity boys finished in fourth place with 58 points.
