Troup FFA earns Chapter of the Year

Troup FFA students had a wonderful showing at the Cherokee County Junior Livestock Show. The school brought home 11 grand champions, seven reserve champions, and three showmanship winners.

Additionally, Valerie York won the Miss Cherokee County Queens Contest, and the group as a whole received 2008 Chapter of the Year honors.

"Everyone showed off their year long hard work on their projects," said FFA sponsor Renee Williams. "The money the students earned will go towards their college fund or for their show projects next year."
