PYP IT MAKES CONTRIBUTION TO AWARDS

Yard of the month wannabes now have an extra incentive to strive for the Keep Whitehouse Beautiful award: a $25 gift certificate from Pyp It Garden Center. The donation of an award to go along with their monthly title is a first for KWB. "It is a very generous offer and Keep Whitheouse Beautiful is very grateful for their generosity and effort in helping us keep Whitehouse beautiful," said Kay Gilbreath of KWB. Above, Pyp It co-owner Bettie de Wet gives the first certificate to KWB member Debbie Lilly. Bettie and husband Frans relocated their business to Whitehouse in 2006. In addition to stocking a variety of plants, trees and shrubs, as well as other gardening suppies, Pyp It also does construction, irrigation and landscaping.
