William H. "Bill" Wallace
Services for William H. "Bill" Wallace, 65, of Whitehouse were held April 5 at Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup, with the Rev. Mike Cline officiating.

Burial was in Mixon Cemetery.

Mr. Wallace died April 1, 2008 in a Tyler hospital.

He was born Sept. 27, 1942 in Houston, to the late William Earl and Evelyn Marie Smith Wallace.

A longtime resident of the Whitehouse area, he was a retired employee of both the city of Tyler and city of Whitehouse.

He was a bus driver for Whitehouse Independent School District.

Survivors include sons, John Wallace, Troup, Steve Wallace, Tomball; daughters, Linda Giles and Carol Ann Williams, both of Whitehouse; sister, Debbie Wallace, Whitehouse; and three grandchildren.
