Opal Ruth Stanke
She was born May 27, 1933 in Nuyaka, Okla., to the late Rev. C.L. and Della Satterfield Robinson. She lived in Tyler since 1990 and was co-owner of Fritz and Opal's Fishing Barge, former manager of Rainbow Duplexes, secretary for Smith County Baptist Association and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Fritz O. Stanke, Whitehouse; daughter, Renee McElroy, Whitehouse; brothers, Ronald Robinson, Tulsa, Okla., and Leslie Robinson, Broken Arrow, Okla.; one grandson; and two great-granddaughters.
