Whitehouse 7th graders win girls district meet

Whitehouse's seventh grade girls took first place at the district track meet, held April 3 in Marshall.

The top three point totals were Whitehouse 121.3, Pine Tree 188.7 and Hallsville 112.

The seventh-grade Ladycats won four events, including a sweep (first, second, third) of the 2400 meter run.

Henderson, Marshall, Jacksonville, Moses and McMichael rounded out the field of competitors.

In the eighth grade division, the Ladycats finished sixth with 59 points behind Hallsville 147, Pine Tree 116, Marshall 95, Jacksonville 94 and Henderson. McMichael and Kilgore completed the field.
