The Whitehouse JV came from behind to score three runs in the bottom of the seventh, to send last Friday's home game against Pine Tree to extra innings. The Cats then pulled out the win in the ninth inning as Logan Newton scored on a passed ball to produce the 6-5 victory.

Star ting pitcher Conner Cashion worked two scoreless innings before hitting a rough spot in the third and allowing the Pirates to take a 3-2 lead.

The Wildcats took an early 2-0 lead with a run in the first on Dalton Stroud's RBI single and then another run in the second on a sacrifice fly by Newton to right to score Justin Haynie from third who singled to start the inning.

The Pirates added another run in the fourth on a controversial call in center field as Conner Crawford appeared to make a diving catch but the field umpire ruled it a trap and a run scored from second base.

Stroud entered the game on the mound for the Wildcats in the fifth and held things in check allowing only a run in the seventh to put the Cats down three headed into their last at bat.

Austin Kea led off the inning with a double to left followed by a single by Haynie.

With one out, Newton singled driving in Kea and then he and Haynie would score on a double to right by Jacob Hilburn.

The score remained tied till the bottom of the ninth lead of f walks to Newton and Hilburn gave the Cats runners on first and second with no outs.

Newton then moved to third on one passed ball and then scored on another to give the Cats the come from behind win.
