Mamaw's on Texas Country Reporter

While their fried pie recipe is gaining in popularity in the Whitehouse area, twin sisters Nell Hoce and Sandra Harvell had no idea what was in store for them.

Sunday, April 27, the sisters who roll out Mamaw's fried pies at 113 Hwy. 110 North will be featured on Texas Country Reporter with Bob Phillips. The show will air locally on KLTV at 5 p.m. and again at 10:35 p.m.

Texas Country Reporter is broadcast weekly on 25 stations in Texas and after ward is beamed eight times a week on the rural satellite and cable network RFD-TV.

"We never dreamed in 100 years that we would get this exposure," Hoce said. "They came down about five weeks ago and spent five hours with us. That Bob Phillips was just so nice."

Hoce went on to say how much they appreciated the people of Whitehouse for bringing such success to their business. "We knew this really was a great place to set up shop, but we never dreamed it would be this great."
