Heather Ellis of Bullard and Troy Alexander of Orange were married April 12, 2008 at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Tyler. Officiate was Liza Ely of Lindale.

The bride is the daughter of David and Loretta Ellis of Bullard and the granddaughter of John George of Bullard and Fizz and Ginger Ellis of Whitehouse. She is a graduate of UT Tyler with a master's degree in liberal arts.

The groom, son of Shirley Alexander of Orange and Jim and Rhonda Alexander of Ben Wheeler, is a graduate of UT Tyler with a bachelor's degree in liberal arts.

Matron of honor was Leann Burns of Tyler. Best man was Jack Alexander of Houston.

Ring bearer was Ashlynn Harris of Whitehouse. Ushers were Jeff Worrell of Mount Selman and William Barber of Whitehouse.
