Eat out for the 'Troupe'

Lonestar Pizza and Burgers is donating a percentage of the profits from meals sold on April 28-29 and May 19-20 to a young acting group from the Tyler Civic Theatre Center. Lonestar is just east of "Troup and the Loop" and the special event is for meals sold from 5-9 p.m.

The owner, Steve McDonald, has played at Tyler Civic Theatre Center in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Rip Van Winkle's Sleepy Hollow.

The fund-raiser will benefit the 2009 U.K. Troupe. This is a group of 25 young people, including some from Whitehouse, who will present The Mark Twain Show in London and Edinburgh during August 2009. To book the play locally, contact education@ tylercivictheatre.com.
