Willingham Road to close Saturday

Construction crews are scheduled to temporarily close Willingham Road in Whitehouse at its intersection with FM 346 on Saturday, April 26, in conjunction with the ongoing project to expand FM 346 in that area. Willingham will be widened to provide a future left-hand turn lane.

The closure is planned for a single day, weather permitting, between Shahan and FM 346. The work to expand FM 346 through Whitehouse began in January 2007.

The project, which calls for FM 346 to be widened to two lanes in each direction plus a continuous center turn lane between FM 2964 to the west and Hagan Road to the east, will add curb-and-gutter and ADA ramps throughout the project and upgrade signals at SH 110 and FM 848.
