Trivia Night set May 8

The third annual Troup ISD Trivia Contest will be May 8 at 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Proceeds from the evening of educational entertainment will go toward scholarships for seniors.

Team fees are $50, and each team can have a maximum of six members. Checks should be made out to Troup Rotary Club, which is sponsoring this event. Checks can be mailed to or dropped off at the Troup Administration Office, 201 N. Carolina, Troup, Texas 75789 (903-842-3067).

Supt. Marvin Beaty is preparing questions in a variety of categories to pose to the teams.

Teams may bring their own snacks and soft drinks, and they may have some sort of signage for their table declaring their team name. All participants should arrive at 6:45 p.m. and have team names selected.
