Ladycat golfers take 3rd at district

Led by junior Tyler McDaniel, the Whitehouse girls completed their season last Monday with their best performance of the year.

McDaniel fired rounds of 103 and 99 (202) to finish eighth in District 12-4A individual rankings, narrowly missing a trip to regionals.

Other Whitehouse scorers were Rachel Wilson (103-103- 211), Brooke Fulton (115-103- 218), Emily Thomas (116-1-5- 221) and Colleen Hughes (128- 101-129).

The Hallsville Ladycats took top team honors, and Pine Tree finished second.

The district tournament was held at Marshall's Lakeside Country Club.
