Junior high bands earn Sweepstakes
      During the week of April 7, the Whitehouse Junior High bands competed at the Region 21 UIL Concert/Sight Reading contest in Hallsville. On April 10, the seventh grade band (non-varsity), under the direction of Joe Hewitt, received a "I" on the stage and a "I" in sight reading.

Whitehouse junior high welcomes 120 into NJHS
      The induction ceremony for the junior high National Honor Society was recently held at Whitehouse Junior High School. To be eligible students must have a 90 or better average for the first semester of their seventh grade core classes, which are reading, math, science and history.
