Donations sought for Project Graduation

It has become a tradition in Whitehouse for the graduating class to spend one final night together before saying goodbye and going their separate ways. The parents of this year's class of seniors, together with Whitehouse High School PTSA, want this to be a night that they will not soon forget. This party will be filled with fun, food and entertainment. Most of all, Project Graduation is drug and alcohol free. The date of this year's event is May 31.

Project Graduation 2008 is an event that is sponsored in part by Texas Department of Transportation. National statistics demonstrate that graduation night is rife with teen drug and alcohol-related driving deaths and injury. The goal of Project Graduation 2008 is to keep graduating seniors safe.

The cost of this event is approximately $3,500. Your tax deductible contribution, whether it is monetary or through the donation of goods and/or services, will be representative of your concern and dedication to the youth and the community.

Please make checks payable to Whitehouse High PTSA and mail or deliver them to the office at the high school at 901 E. Main, or you can contact PTSA president Pat Millican at 903- 780-7542 or millicanpat@ yahoo.com.

Thank you to all those who have made this event a huge success in the past .
