CORRECTIONS

In last week's article about the Troup Book It! event, Mrs. Kay Evans was incorrectly identified as winning the history trivia contest. J.C. Trahan actually won the trivia contest, while Mrs. Evans won a copy of the upcoming "History of Troup" book in a drawing.

In the April 17 edition, a headline mistakenly referred to Howard Patterson receiving a new appointment at Tyler Junior College. Mr. Patterson's place of employment and his new position are with The University of Texas at Tyler.
