Scoreboard demo Friday

The business community and interested individuals are invited Friday at 10 a.m. to the home side entrance of Wildcat Stadium for a demonstration of an LED video scoreboard being presented by Daktronics, the company who supplied the electronic message boards at Brown Elementary and WHS.

This is a component Athletic Director Randy McFarlin and others would like to see added to the stadium. It is not being funded by the district. They are seeking businesses and individuals to sponsor the board.

Increased seating, a remodeled and enlarged press box and artificial turf were all approved by trustees in January. Funding for this project will come from surplus funds in construction accounts from prior years.

Daktronics is one of the world's largest suppliers of electronic scoreboards, computerprogrammable displays and large screen video displays and control systems.
