Betty Lynn Clark Brinson
VAN - Services for Mrs. Betty Lynn Clark Brinson, 73, of Van were held April 27 at Hilliard Funeral Home, Van, with Rev. Mike Calhoun and Rev. Kenneth Meadows officiating.

Burial was in Marvin Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Brinson died April 25, 2008 in Tyler.

She was born Jan. 14, 1935 in the Owlet Green Community to the late Albert Benjamin Clark and Geneva Goode Clark. She had been a resident of Van Zandt County since 1972 and formerly lived in Longview. She was employed with Social Security as a claims representative in Tyler and Longview. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Van. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. C. Brinson, in 2006.

Survivors include a son, David Brinson, Whitehouse; daughter, Karen Bochow, Tyler; step-daughters, Janita Barnes, Longview, and Brenda Skornik, Houston; and four grandchildren.
