Virginia Fisk

Services for Virginia Fisk, 83, of Whitehouse were held April 26 at Lloyd James Funeral Home chapel, Tyler, with the Rev. Alfred Darst officiating.

Burial was in Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mrs. Fisk died April 18, 2008 in Tyler.

She was born Sept. 27, 1924 in Stroud, Okla., to the late James and Irene McVay Burkhart. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a member of Whitehouse United Methodist Church, president of Skiatook, Okla., United Methodist Women and member of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred C. Fisk.

Survivors include daughters, Sharon Hughes, Whitehouse, Sandra Bird, Clearlake Oaks, Calif., and Rhonda Madrid, Vacaville, Calif.; son, Calvin Fisk; brothers, Gene Burkhart, Colo., and Mike Burkhart, Okla.; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mike Burkhart, Scott Fisk, Brad Fisk, Jason Hughes, Anthony Fisk and Joe Greenwell.
