Teams set for Troup Trivia Night

Approximately 20 teams have indicated they will participate in tonight's Trivia Contest at Troup High School.

With a team entry fee of $50, all monies raised go toward scholarships for seniors. The Troup Rotary Club is sponsoring the event.

It's not too late to join in the fun. As long as your team has a name and the entry fee, you can join right up to the start of the contest (limit six members per team).

With questions prepared by Supt. Marvin Beaty covering a variety of topics, the evening promises to be a fun way to support a worthwhile cause.

This year's teams include reigning champs The Invisible Coaches and the winners from two years ago, the Dumb Divas.

Other entries include the PMS Team, the HTBH Team, Trivia Tigers and Maroon Matadors.

Although many of the teams are made up of Troup ISD faculty and personnel, businesses and members of the community are urged to participate.

The contest will be in the Troup High School cafeteria. The contest starts at 7 p.m., although teams should arrive by 6:45 p.m.
