Glenn Hamilton

KILGORE - Services for Glenn Hamilton, 71, of Kilgore was held May 5 at Rader Funeral Home chapel, Kilgore, with the Revs. David Faircloth and James Shepherd officiating. Burial was in Kilgore Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hamilton died May 2, 2008 as the result of an accident.

He was born Aug. 26, 1936, in Troup to L.O. and Ethel Hamilton. He served in the Army, retired from Goodyear Tire Co. after 30 years service and was a member of New Horizon Church of God in Longview.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years Helen Hamilton, Kilgore; daughters, Elizabeth Zulueta and Frankie Lynn Brown, both of Gladewater, Teresa Lynn Brumley and Carolyn Simoneax, both of Tyler, and Susan Marie Limberg, Garland; sons, John Dewayne Hays, Kilgore, Billy Joe Hays, Gladewater, and Michael Glenn Morgan, Whitehouse; one brother, Jack Hamilton, Troup; three sisters, Lucille Johnson, Mineola, Odell Nesbitt, Lindale, Birdie Knight, Troup; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

Pallbearers were David Campbell, Leon Gregory, Paul Gikrler, Don Arber, Harry Wickersham and Harold Craig.

Honorary pallbearer was Wayne Bradberry.
