Stewart plans grand opening, ribbon cutting new office

Thomas Stewart of the financial services firm Edward Jones invites the public to join him at a grand opening celebration. The event will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at his office at 908 W. Duval in Troup.

"I am excited to be opening an Edward Jones of fice in Troup, because I really see a need for the type of service we provide," Stewart said. "This firm concerns itself exclusively with the needs of individual investors and small-business owners, and I'm happy to be bringing that kind of personalized service to this community."

Various activities are planned, including door prizes and a ribbon-cutting ceremony beginning at 1 p.m.

Stewart has been operating in Troup since 2007, but just recently moved into an office. He also recently announced the addition of Phaedra Covington as branch office administrator.

Edward Jones provides financial ser vices for individual investors in the United States and, through its affiliates, in Canada and the United Kingdom.
