Keep Whitehouse Beautiful meets

Keep Whitehouse Beautiful will meet Thursday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Whitehouse Assembly of God. The public is invited.

TWCO to meet

The Troup Women's Civic Organization will meet Monday, Jan. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Troup Library. Hearts in Harmony, an animal assisted therapy group of volunteers who take their animals to work with at-risk, abused and neglected children, will be on hand to present the program.

Yoga class Monday

Yoga class meets each Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the youth wing of First Baptist Church of Whitehouse. There is no fee for the class. Bring your own yoga mat, towel and bottle of water. There is no child care available at this time.

WH Recycle Center open

Regular hours of operation for the Whitehouse Recycle Center are on Wednesdays from 7-10 a.m. and 3:30-5 p.m. as well as the first and third Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Bring your recyclable paper, newspaper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum cans and tin cans. The Recycle Center is located on Railroad Avenue.

VFW Post 1799 open daily

VFW Post 1799 on Rhone Quarter Road opens daily at 2:30 p.m. for members and guests. Each day offers a different activity such as competitive pool, karaoke and social hour. For information visit www.vfw1799.org or call 903-561-3501.
