Pat Harris

Services for Pat Harris, 65, of Whitehouse were held July 1, 2009 in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Thoene officiating, burial followed in the Bascom Cemeter y.

Mrs. Harris went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 29, 2009 in Whitehouse.

She was born Sept. 22, 1943 in New Chapel Hill to the late Luther Lee Jenkins and Joanna Reynolds Jenkins. Her joy was helping the brides of East Texas for over 20 years with selecting their gowns as the owner of Forever Yours Bridal Shop in Tyler and she was a member of the Assembly of God church.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Walter M. Harris of Whitehouse; son, Greg Harris of Van; daughter, Paula and Jeff McNeill of Whitehouse; brothers, Luther and Janet Jenkins, Jr. of Omen, Glynn and Lynn Jenkins of New Chapel Hill and Rex Lee and Sarah Jenkins of New Chapel Hill; sisters, Betty Ann Atkins of Tyler and Shirley and Raymond Proctor of Mt. Sylvan; grandchildren, Jed McNeill and Lana McNeill; and special dog "Huggy Bear."

Pallbearers were Justin Jenkins, Vance Jenkins, Sean Jenkins, Robert Stokes, Doug Harris and Kurt Bogue.

Memorials maybe made to Heart to Heart Hospice, or the First Baptist Church of Gresham.
