Whitehouse kept its playoff hopes alive last Friday night with a dominating 42- 14 win over Nacogdoches at Wildcat Stadium. The victory sets up a must-win situation tomorrow night as the Cats travel to Henderson to take on the Lions. Playing at Fairfield, the Lady Tigers claimed the first two games, 25-21, 25-23, and then dropped game three, 18-25. The determined team came out strong in game four and prevailed, 25-15. More ... In the girls division, Henderson took second and Lindale third. For the boys, Nacogdoches claimed second and Lindale and Jacksonville tied for third. More ... The Troup Tiger boys cross country team finished third at the district meet to qualify for the regional meet in Houston. The team was led by senior Jake Herington, who medaled with a third place time of 17:22. Herington has qualified for the regional cross country meet for four consecutive years. More ...
