BULLETIN BOARD Toys For Tots accepted at Edward Jones The Edward Jones office of Randall Mangum in Troup is an official drop-off for Toys For Tots donations. All toys must be new. The deadline is Dec. 11. Outdoor warning system test The City of Whitehouse test the outdoor warning siren system the first Tuesday of each month at 11 a.m. Should there be inclement weather the testing will be postponed to the following month. Dixie Masonic Lodge to meet The Dixie Masonic Lodge #272 in Troup will meet Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at the lodge hall. American Legion meetings Tuesday Troup American Legion and Sons of the Legion will meet Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. at the legion hall. Game Time for Seniors Game Time for Senior Citizens will be Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 1-3 p.m. at the Troup library. All senior citizens are welcome to attend. Troup readies for Christmas parade The Troup Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 3. The parade will form at 5:30 p.m. and is scheduled to start at 6. WH park events and parade Dec. 5 The Whitehouse Chamber of Commerce and YesterYear join forces again for a day filled with fun in the park and a parade full of joy on Saturday, Dec. 5. Parade forms and Kris Kringle forms are available at the Tri County Leader. Library activities posted Regular library hours for the Whitehouse Community Library are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday 11-5. WH Recycle Center open Regular hours of operation for the Whitehouse Recycle Center are on Wednesdays from 7-10 a.m. and 3:30-5 p.m. as well as the first and third Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. Bring your recyclable paper, newspaper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum cans and tin cans. The Recycle Center is located on Railroad Ave. Church Activities First Presbyterian plans 100th The congregation of the First Presbyterian Church in Troup will celebrate their 100th anniversary on Sunday, Dec. 13 with special services at 2 p.m. Those who are former members and the community are invited to attend this special day.
