During the period from Sunday, July 18 to Saturday, July 24, the Whitehouse Police Department responded to 113 calls and made five arrests.

On Sunday, July 18 officers responded to 17 calls including:

WELFARE CONCERN/ SUICIDAL PERSON, City of Whitehouse, officers assisted with a person that was reported to possibly be suicidal, officers handled on scene

THEFT, 300 Block Gibson, stolen flag from City Court Building, flag was recovered, report taken

On Monday, July 19 officers responded to 13 calls including:

TRAFFIC DETENTION, Memory at Hagan, citation issued to driver for open container of alcohol in vehicle

WARRANT EXECUTION, 300 Block E. Main, 19-year-old female paid fines and released

ANIMAL COMPLAINT, 600 Block Golden Bay, warning issued for leash law violation

On Tuesday, July 20 officers responded to 15 calls including:

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE, 100 Block Barbara, GPS stolen from a vehicle, report taken

9-1-1 HANGUP, 800 Block Rugby, Jerry Pope, 50, arrested for public intoxication

MINOR CONSUMING ALCOHOL, 1800 Block Waterton, several citations issued for minor consuming alcohol, parents notified

ANIMAL COMPLAINT, 300 Block Gatewood, citation issued for leash law violation

WARRANT EXECUTION, 300 Block E. Main, 39-year-old female paid fines and released

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, 200 North Creek Ct., windows damaged on residence

TRAFFIC DETENTION, 100 Block Stacy, Jeremy Wynn, 24, arrested on a traffic stop for driving while license suspended and possession of marijuana

On Thursday, July 22 officers responded to 19 calls including:

VEHICLE ACCIDENT, 600 Block W. Main, two-vehicle accident, minor injuries reported, one vehicle fled the scene

WELFARE CONCERN/ SUICIDAL PERSON, City of Whitehouse, possible suicidal person called in by the Andrews Center, officers handled on scene

WARRANT EXECUTION, 300 Block E. Main, 20-year-old female paid fines and released

WARRANT EXECUTION, 300 Block E. Main, 59-year-old male paid fines and released

ANIMAL COMPLAINT, 300 Block Rainbow, complaint of several opossums in yard, Animal Control could not reach them in the tree

REPTILE COMPLAINT, 100 Block Crestview, Animal Control removed a snake from a residence

WARRANT EXECUTION, 300 Block E. Main, 33-year-old male paid fines and released

CURFEW VIOLATION, 100 Block W. Main, four citations issued for curfew violation, juveniles were released to a parent

GRAFFITTI, 100 Block Kevin, sign was spray painted, report taken

AGENCY ASSIST/SUICIDAL PERSON, Smith County, assisted county deputies with a possible suicidal person

VEHICLE ACCIDENT, 1100 Block Jan, two-vehicle minor accident, no injuries reported

TRAFFIC DETENTION, 100 Block Acker Tap, Stephen Kimes, 33, arrested for driving while license suspended, no proof of liability and displaying a fictitious or altered registration

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, 1700 Block Hagan, residence was wrapped with toilet paper

WARRANT EXECUTION, 300 Block E. Main, 19-year-old male paid fines and released

TRAFFIC DETENTION, 300 Block E. Main, Ray Shockey, 29, arrested for driving while license suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia while on a traffic stop

DISTURBANCE, 900 Block Christopher, report taken for Class C assault

TRAFFIC DETENTION, 100 Block E. Main, Sarah McMiller, 36, arrested for driving while license suspended on a traffic stop
