Summer activities will heat up at Troup library

The first group of activities ready to kick off the summer at the Cameron J. Jarvis Troup Municipal Library begins on Thursday, June 12. Don Summers, with On Site Safety, is offering the first of two classes. The first is a CPR class that will be held that day at 5:30 p.m. For participants who want the Red Cross Card the cost for the class is $35. For those who would just like the experience of the class, there is no charge.

The second class is First Aid and is set for Thursday, June 19 at 5:30 p.m. Pricing is the same as the CPR class.

Space is limited for both classes so call 903- 842-3101 the library to sign up.

Summer reading program is set for Wednesday, June 18-July 16 at 2 p.m. Children that have just completed fifth grade and younger are invited to attend.
