Summer fun continues at libraries

The Whitehouse Community Library summer activities continue into July.

STEAM Team activities are slated to begin at 3:30 p.m. each Thursday. Fridays have special feature presentations. On July 20 the STEAM team will learn about sight.

Read to Me will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. each Tuesday and Color Me Happy is slated from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Saturday.

Monday’s schedule includes Storytime at 10:30 a.m. and Lego Challenge from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. through the remainder of July.

The Cameron-J. Jarvis Municipal Library in Troup also has scheduled summer activities and movie days.

The children age groups from pre-K through fifth grades will be able to visit starting at 2 p.m. each Wednesday through July 26.

Movies days conclude July 19. “Moana” is set for showing. Show and Tell is reserved for the finale on July 26. Friday, July 14 will see a special Trailblazer Exhibit geared for grades 3-8. You must call the library to register for this event in advance.
