In four days, these incredible students have taken close to a 1,500-mile journey all over Texas and competed in 5 CDE (Career Development Events) Invitational contests in just four days.

We are so proud of the 40 students that are apart of 11 teams that have done a remarkable job and represented, learned and gained lifelong skills.

Contests included:

Northwest CDE Contest

Decatur CDE Contest

Tarleton State University Contest- the largest contest in the nation with over 9,500 participants

Texas State University Contest

Texas A&M University Judging Clinics

We want to congratulate Abby Johnston for being a total rock star and placing 18th overall out of 897 contestants in the Horse Judging Evaluation Contest at Tarleton State University, as well as the Horse Judging Evaluation Team for placing 10th overall.

Also at Tarleton University Contest the Veterinary Science Team placed sixth out of 266 Teams.

Congratulations to Shanna Sebring for placing third overall out of 122 contestants in the Milk Quality Contest at the Decatur CDE Contest.

Over the past four days we had teams place in the top 10 and individuals place in the top 20 in events. The next few weeks are intense for these teams as they prepare for the Area Contest but they are all fired up.
