Players receiving honors included junior defensive lineman Andrew Brooks, senior running back Brooks Parham, senior defensive back Chidiebere Nechi, and junior punter Campbell Fletcher, as First Team All-District; senior defensive back Alec Kitt, senior defensive lineman Joseph Ardi, senior offensive lineman Jordan Day, junior running back Jeremiah McGowen, and senior wide receiver Parker Galbraith, as Second Team All-District; and junior linebacker Fletcher, senior running back Jordan McGowen, and senior wide receiver Kitt, as All-District Honorable Mentions.

Varsity squad included Kayla Bell, Megan Daughtery, Abbie Denman, Baleigh Ford, Kaitlyn Goodrich, Skylar Kate, Lindy Martin, Molly Martin, McKenzie Pyle, Riley Randall, and Sara Wallace, with the varsity mascot being Perry Burchfield. Junior varsity squad included Brittany Bextine, Macie Bunger, Jacelyn Cowart, Addison Kennedy, Keely Linebaugh, Angie Lorenz, Bailie Pierce, Kallie Priestner, Tatum Rigsby, Paige Rives, Macie Turrentine, Logan Waterman, and Courtney White, with the junior varisty mascot being Ashlin Denney.
Bullard High School varsity tennis duo of Kallie Hardin and Belle Ertl took home second place in girls doubles at the District 15-4A tennis tournament, allowing the paid to advance to the Regional Tennis Tournament.

The Brook Hill Guard varsity golf team was crowed the District Champions after placing first at the TAPPS 5A District 2 Golf Tournament. Likewise, the Brook Hill Lady Guard varsity golf team secured second place at the tournament, with junior Emma French being recognized as the Individual District Champion with her score of 71. Both teams advanced to the TAPPS 5A Regional Golf Tournament.

The Bullard Lady Panther varsity softball team earned the recognition of Co-District Champions, alongside the Gladewater Lady Bears, as well as claimed the top seed in the playoffs.
A total of nine members of the Bullard Panther Fishing Club made the cut to advance to the Texas High School Bass Association’s State Tournament on Lake Ray Roberts after reeling in strong finishes at the THSBA Houston Division Regional Tournament. Fishers advancing to the State tournament included Chase Bussell, Will Carlile, McKenna Davis, Callie Farr, Zach Hastings, Colton Hatcher, Landry Lasseter, Cody Neel, and Reece Ricketts.

Scott Callaway was approved by the Bullard ISD Board of Trustees was hired to fill the vacancy left by Shannon Wilson as the Bullard ISD athletic director and Bullard Panther football coach. Previously, Callaway served as the offensive coordinator at Mesquite High School, as well as head coach at Gladewater and Big Sandy.
The Brook Hill School continued celebrating its 20th year in existence with the inaugural Orange Rush Family Fun Run. Approximately 250 runners registered for the event.

The Panther varsity golf team placed fourth as a team, while the Lady Panther varsity golf team took home a fifth place team finish.

The Bullard Panther Fishing Club and Brook Hill Fishing Club ended their seasons on the waters of the Texas High School Bass Association’s State tournament. Bullard fishers included Will Carlile (85th), Callie Farr and McKenna Davis (156th), Colton Hatcher and Landry Lasseter (167th), Chase Bussell and Zac Hastings (T-193rd), and Reece Ricketts and Cody Neel (T-193rd, while Brook Hill fishers included Cole and Dalton Findley (200th).
Brook Hill athletic director Wally Dawkins announced the initial plans for the 2017 Tyler Ford-Brook Hill American Warrior Bowl football game, scheduled for September 2017, saying the Guard varsity football team would host the Royal Imperial Collegiate School of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.
